Meet the Fellows

Fellowship programs are hardly unique.  There are thousands of them throughout the world. What is unique in each program are the personalities, motivations and experiences of the fellows selected. The case is made with our Stoneleigh Fellows. While they all have a common denominator—passion to help children—their individual stories are far from similar. They are inspirational, intriguing and insightful.

It is our goal to help you understand more about Stoneleigh's mission and intended impact by collecting and sharing stories about our Fellows. To make them even more enticing, we asked an accomplished writer, social policy expert and Stoneleigh colleague—Dine Watson—to be our "folklorist." She has spent quality time interviewing our fellows and then relating their stories for all of us to enjoy. We will bring these to you one by one in a series of articles.  We start with two of our fellows: Dr. David Rubin and Ms. Leslie Acoca. Others will be added as Dine completes her interviews and turns those interviews into stories we will then post. Please visit our site regularly to continue the series.
