The Junior Fellowship provides an opportunity for exceptional graduates interested in public service to work for one year at an organization in the public or non-profit sectors of the greater Philadelphia area. The Fellowship is designed to provide a dynamic, hands-on experience for the Junior Fellow, resulting in a tangible work product that advances the work of the partner organization.
We are interested in supporting projects that focus on issues connected to:
Successful projects give partner organizations an opportunity to strengthen their program through policy, research, or advocacy work, and provide the Fellow with the chance to gain new skills or experience. The projects should have a discrete start and end point and allow the primary activities to be completed by the Fellow within one year.
How it Works:
There are four stages to the application process:
1) Partner organizations submit to Stoneleigh an abstract of the project they are interested in pursuing with a Junior Fellow;
2) Stoneleigh advertises projects that meet our selection criteria on our Web site;
3) Interested applicants apply directly to the partner organization;
4) Each partner organization selects an applicant and together they submit a joint application to Stoneleigh.
