Stoneleigh Center Fellowships are designed to support creative, accomplished researchers, practitioners, and policymakers who have demonstrated leadership in child welfare, education, juvenile justice, or related fields.
Candidates might be mid- to senior-level practitioners in youth- or family-serving organizations or systems. They might also be seasoned policymakers, analysts, or researchers working in non-profit, governmental, or academic institutions.

Awardees are expected to relinquish their day-to-day job duties in order to devote their time fully to the projects supported by the fellowship.
Candidates are asked to apply in partnership with a sponsoring organization and to have the support of the systems within which they will be working for change. Proposals must identify a sponsoring organization that can house the fellow and funded project, as well as provide administrative support. The sponsoring organization can be the candidate's current employer or another organization central to the proposed work. Sponsoring organizations will be compensated for administrative expenses.
