C. Leigh Wilson, MSW


Leigh received her Master of Social Work from the University of Pennyslvania in 2013. She is a committed advocate for the needs of those experiencing homelessness and has previous experience working in the homeless services sector. This includes an internship at the People's Emergency Center (PEC), the Homeless Health Initiative at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Corporation for Supportive Housing. At the Homeless Health Initiative, Leigh facilitated weekly groups on health and nutrition for mothers and teens in emergency housing, in addition to conducting focus groups and qualitative interviews as part of an organizational program evaluation. While interning at PEC, she collected data from directors of regional homeless services and wrote a report on the state of homeless services in Pennsylvania.
