Dominique Mikell, AM


Dominique is a dynamic leader with strong commitment to improving the lives of adolescents in foster care.  In May 2016, Dominique earned her master’s degree in social work at the University of Chicago's School of Social Service Administration with a focus on child welfare.  While at the University of Chicago, Dominique worked as a research assistant for the seminal California Youth Transition to Adulthood (CalYOUTH) Study led by Dr. Mark Courtney to evaluate the implementation of California’s recently enacted extended foster care legislation.  In addition, Dominique has completed internships with the Chicago Child Care Society, CHANGE Illinois, and Kenwood Academy.
