Ashley Sawyer, JD


Earning her law degree at Howard University School of Law in May 2014, Ashley Sawyer’s academic and professional background includes work on a variety of social and political issues affecting vulnerable youth. Ashley’s commitment to the needs of at-risk youth and educational fairness include working on the school to prison pipeline with the Advancement Project, mentoring for urban youth, and serving at Howard School of Law's Civil Rights Clinic. Additionally, a policy fellowship award during her undergraduate studies at Rutgers University provided her with the opportunity to work in the New Jersey Governor’s Policy Office.
